The Blooming Gem is a homebased floral design business located in north Canyon Lake, Texas. As a private florist, I work closely with you to create that special look and feel that will capture the spirit of your event.
I believe that every celebration should be carefully curated and designed specifically for each unique client. For that reason I do my absolute best to keep you informed and in the know as much as possible.
Currently, I'm only accepting small to medium sized events (weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, and business events). How do you book? send us an email with date and location of event to check availability.

An additional 15% fee for planning & consultation, labor and design will be applied to the total cost.
Once you have filled out our consultation request form, we will reach out to discuss details and put together a proposal. All proposals are valid for 30 days. If you decide to book with us, we will send over a contract. A 25% nonrefundable deposit is required at booking. Signing the contract confirms that you have read and approved all of our policies and the details of your event. Dates cannot be held until the deposit and signed contract have been received.
The 25% deposit is nonrefundable in the case of a cancellation, regardless of reason, as securing the date for your event precludes us from booking another event on that date. Your deposit will be deducted from your final balance.
We understand that your floral needs may change somewhat between booking and the event and are happy to accommodate these changes whenever possible. That being said, as the size of your event determines whether or not we book an additional event on your date, the final total cannot be reduced by more than 10% of the anticipated total agreed upon in your contract. Any changes must be submitted in writing/email at least 30 days prior to the event.
If you decide to cancel the event, notice must be provided in writing/email at least 30 days prior to the event. The 25% deposit will remain nonrefundable. Events canceled within 30 days of the event remain payable in full.
If your event is rescheduled or relocated, we will make every effort to accommodate the new venue or date. If we are able to accommodate the change, your pricing will be updated if necessary and a new contract will be signed. Your original deposit will be applied towards the balance on the new contract. If we are already booked on your new date or unable to travel to your new venue, the initial 25% deposit remains nonrefundable.
We reserve the right to substitute all products to ensure the highest quality flowers and greens are used. When working with a perishable natural product, there are no guarantees regarding quality and availability. If we are unable to secure a specific flower or green, substitutions will be made as necessary. Regardless of the availability of specific products, we will always adhere to the agreed color palette and style of floral design.
Containers and vases may change due to supplier issues; we will substitute the selected product with items of greater or equal value, in line with the overall look and feel for the event.
Wind, rain, and very high or low temperatures can have a dramatic impact on flowers. While we will do our best to work with you to keep the flowers safe, we cannot be held responsible for florals damaged by weather after delivery or pickup.

We only deliver within a 12 mile radius of 165 Willie Ct. Canyon Lake, TX. 78133. Please verify that the recipients address is within the 12 mile radius.
Any orders placed outside of our delivery zone will be cancelled and refunded (minus the 3% transaction fee). For same day delivery, be sure you place your order by 11 am Mon-Fri.
